Thank you for visiting the Georgetown Bread Basket (Food Bank) website. We are a non profit, volunteer based, charitable organization whose mission is to provide and promote access to healthier eating for our clients. Several community churches, business and service organizations assist us in meeting the needs of our clients but with the current economic times there is even a greater need for your assistance.  

How can you help?

You can leave your food donations at any one of the 5 local grocery stores, where we pick up biweekly or perhaps give a monetary donation.

Monetary donations allow us to purchase eggs, milk, meat and dietary supplements. Please click on the donations tab for more information. 

Fresh fruit boxes are purchased with donated funds to give to our clients on monthly basis. 

It is a well received item, that contains seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables.

You can print off the donation sheet, fill it in and mail it to the Georgetown Bread Basket.  Receipts will be issued for donations over $ 20.00
